Education, Training, and Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University (2004), Sacramento, and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Brandman University (2012).
During and after graduate school, I began my social services career as a Social Worker with Yuba County Health and Human Services, Nevada County Child Protective Services, and as a Therapist with Yuba County Probation, Victim Services. I also ventured into private practice as a pre-licensed therapist and volunteered my time providing therapy at a non-profit rural community clinic.
I am licensed to provide Marriage and Family Therapy in both Nevada (01450) and California (LMFT 97263), and have been fully-licensed since 2016.
I am a Clinical Fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), and a Clinical Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
